SUP Parliamentary Board



  1.   Parliamentary Board of the Party shall consist of five members including the Party President,who shall nominate the remaining four from amongst the senior members of the Party provided that all such nominations shall require ratification of the Central Committee.
  2. The Board shall (a) promote  awareness about the elections and enlisting of names as voters, (b) examine election rules and regulations, and (c) take cognizance of the changes in electoral constituencies.
  3. The Board shall select (issue Party tickets to) candidates from concerned provices for contesting the election to the Senate, the National Assembly and the Provincial Assemblies, lay down the procedure for receiving applications for such candidacy.
  4. The Board shall recommend, after due consideration, names of those candidates for allotment of Party tickets, who are not liable to be disqualified under article 63 of the Constitution of the country or under the laws in force.
  5. The quorum for a Board meeting shall be three members.
  6. Any candidate, who is not satisfied with decisions of the Board, may file an appeal with the Party President.
  7. The Board shall frame byelaws for its working.
